Welcome to Soul Selah!

         Let me introduce myself, my name is Sue Gipson. I recently retired from 30+ years as a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse. I am the wife of a Vietnam era Combat Marine, mother of a combat Marine that served during OIF/OEF and a trauma survivor. Living with PTSD and Soul Injury is no stranger to me. I have come to know that true peace can be found through reconnecting with your authentic self… your BE-ING! Soul Selah exists now as a result of personal experience with being disconnected. I hope you will allow me to share with you the lessons and self-help tools necessary to restore wholeness.

We come into the world without much self-awareness when we’re born. The task is to move from unconsciousness to consciousness. So that when we reach the end of our lives we completely inhabit ourselves.


Yet, life gets in the way. We get separated from who we are. So, the work becomes re-owning these scattered pieces of self and then creating a safe place so those scattered pieces can come back home. We can then be reunited with our authentic self. When we are able to do that, we grow into our full selves, and we experience the energy of our BE-ing.

That’s where Soul Selah comes in.

Our mission is to provide the means whereby our souls may have a wholistic encounter within the pauses of life. Selah is a Hebrew word referring to a voluntary and intentional pause for reflection. We believe that we are able to connect to our authentic self in those moments of reflection. We call it the power of the pause.

Soul Selah provides tools to help people reconnect with their authentic self.

These tools that help people move past barriers that separate them from their sense of self. They also connect a person to their sense of BE-ing. The end result is to restore wholeness in those who use these tools.

Host An Event

We host workshops to train you or your team on the use of these tools to become more alive. For those interested in hosting an event for your organization we provide a custom schedule to meet the needs of your team.
